Commonwealth Golf Club was honoured to host the Women's Australian Open in 2010 and again in 2011.
Being a co-sanctioned event between the Ladies European Tour and the Australian Ladies PGA Tour, the Women's Australian Open brought together a world class field of local and international players such as Karrie Webb, Katherine Hull, Laura Davies, Jayai Shin and Yani Tseng. In both years the tournament was won by Yani Tseng, confirming her status as one of the best players in women's golf.
