Commonwealth prides itself on having strong reciprocal relationships interstate and overseas
- a great benefit of membership!

These arrangements vary from Club to Club. Some Clubs provide for sympathetic consideration for membership upon transfer of residence to the applicable city and otherwise the privilege of using the Clubhouse and course on equal terms with the members of the reciprocal golf clubs. However, in order to play at a reciprocal golf club when visiting, the visitors must be introduced to the reciprocal golf club in a proper manner, that is, either personally by a member of the reciprocal golf club or by an official Commonwealth introductory card available from the office.

A written introduction from the General Manager should be obtained from the office by any member wishing to visit one of the Club's reciprocal golf clubs. The specific details of the Club's reciprocal arrangements may be obtained from the General Manager and should be reviewed by members before making any transfer of residence to a relevant city or visiting any of the Club's reciprocal golf clubs.
